We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEMH Mentor to support our studentsā€™ emotional and behavioural development, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to smallĀ groups ofĀ students with SEMH needs.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behaviour.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development.
  • Participate in professional development and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEMH support (preferred).
