- Client Tariff Management
- Work with the Account Management team to produce monthly tariffs as needed.
- Review monthly buy rates and update tariffs to meet target profit margins.
- Monitor achieved profit margins and adjust tariffs to exceed targets when possible.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department to manage costs and maximize profit.
- Key Account Support
- Travel as needed to business sites and customer offices to establish and maintain systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and identify process improvements.
- Identify trends and potential issues, producing and reviewing relevant reports and data.
- Understand customer organizational structures and match contacts, establishing a support team as needed.
- Manage daily operational issues, escalating critical matters to the SGAM when required.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Regularly update SOPs and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders as appropriate.
- Experience working for a freight specialist / global logistics provider
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written
- Attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
