Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their growing team. (Sole British Citizens only)

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on a company that prioritizes excellence. You'll be responsible for verifying the quality of incoming, outgoing, and internally manufactured products, ensuring they meet all customer requirements, industry standards, and internal procedures.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Conducting dimensional inspections using traditional methods and cutting-edge CMM Laser Trackers (experience with FARO a plus!)
  • Contributing to the Nonconformity Review (NCR) process with initial investigations
  • Providing valuable feedback to Engineering, and Production teams to continuously improve product quality
  • Reviewing in-process documentation to guarantee adherence to established protocols
  • Overseeing contract reviews for new enquiries and orders as part of the Quality Assurance (QA) process
  • Finalizing release documentation packs and inspection reports for component acceptance
  • Compiling First Article Reports following AS9102 standards
  • Fostering a continuous improvement culture within the team
To be successful, you'll possess:
  • Solid experience with quality inspection methodologies (both manual and involving CMM Laser Trackers)
  • A strong understanding of technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a significant advantage
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is essential
  • A willingness to adapt and solve problems effectively when deadlines loom
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and customers is a plus
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Composites experience is a bonus, but not mandatory!
