We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant/Credit Control to join our Finance Department.
You will be responsible for supporting the Finance function with a range of accounts related duties.
As aCustomer Service/Credit Control Assistantwithin our finance team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working to strict daily deadlines. Your key responsibilities include ensuring that all customer orders are received and processed daily, and that daily deliveries into customer depots are fulfilled in full. You will effectively communicate and resolve any shortages in a timely manner, demonstrating strong prioritisation skills to manage your workload efficiently. Your role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction

Customer Service - Sales Admin / Distribution
- Effective Communication between Customers, Haulers and Colleagues
- Handling Customer queries, delivery issues, order processing and claims
- Handle returns and quarantine stock processing
- Providing daily report analysis of shipments
- Attend Weekly Customer Meetings
- Reviewing Customer Forecast for future promotions and new list activity to make necessary master data updates
Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
- Managing and monitoring customer accounts meet payment terms
- Handling customer queries and resolving payment issues
- Raising credit notes/invoices as per the agreed process
- Accurately post daily cash receipts
- Reception lunch cover
Candidates should have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will be IT literate with strong communication skills.
