Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team at Oakley Food Projects. This role is pivotal in driving growth and establishing strong relationships with our clients in the food and beverage sector. Based in Wokingham, you will play a key role in supporting our mission to empower our workforce while contributing to the success of our innovative projects.

The role is office based role fivedays per week. Working hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.

You will receive 25 days holiday per calendar year, plus bank holidays. Private medical healthcare upon completion of probation, as well as a pension scheme upon joining.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food and beverage industry.
  • Qualify opportunities by asking good questions, active listening and challenging prospects on their problems, motivation to find a solution, and authority to buy.
  • Achieve KPI targets of 80-100 outbound calls per day, 22 hits per day and 5 generated leads per week.
  • Manage the CRM database, keep client data up to date and accurate.
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the food or beverage sector.
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM software for managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating accountability in all tasks.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
