Location: Winscombe

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (April 2025 - July 2025)

Days: 0.6/0.7 or full time with general cover on the other days.

Salary: Salary is negotiable depending on experience and pay scale, but daily rates start from £160 per day up to £260 per day PAYE.

We are seeking a Geography Teacher to join our dedicated team at a school located in Winscombe. This exciting opportunity involves teaching Geography up to GCSE level, contributing to the intellectual and personal development of our students. This will be a full duties role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Geography - plus PSHE lessons.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for humanities subjects.
  • Contribute to the development of the humanities curriculum.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
