Our client has been trading for over 30 years and they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Bookkeeper / Office Manager to oversee all general accounting and the day to day operational management of the office. This is an office based role working Mon - Fri 8:30 - 4:30.
This is a highly varied role split between general accounts work and office management.
Typical accounting duties will be:
- invoicing and order processing
- matching financial documents for customer and supplier accounts
- supplier payment runs
- payments & receipts
- bank reconciliation
- company card receipts and employee expenses
Office management typical duties:
- Supervise daily office operations and ensure the teams efficient workflow.
- Liaise with multiple departments to ensure stock and order processing are kept up to date
- Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and suppliers to ensure any issues re dealt with in a timely manner to reduce any costs to the business
