We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our client’s team at their Winsford site. Our client is a global leader in innovative packaging solutions and they produce top-quality polythene film and have exciting opportunities in Stretch Extrusion, Blown Extrusion, and Damp-Proof Membrane (DPM) Extrusion.
Starting with a competitive salary of £31,175.20 per year, you'll start off with a 13-week training program, supported by an on-site trainer and one-on-one coaching to get you up to speed. Their grading system rewards your progress with pay increases as you develop your skills, so there's plenty of room to grow.
You'll work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, then 4 days off), with paid breaks to keep you energised. Plus, you can earn extra with 'summer cover' shifts, paid at 1.5 times your normal rate between June and September.
In this role, you'll be producing polythene film products to meet customer specs, handling order and blend changes, ensuring quality control, and keeping the workspace clean and safe. You'll need to be comfortable using your initiative, whether working solo or as part of a team, and bring an enthusiastic, reliable, and hands-on approach to the job.
We're looking for people who get the manual and labour-intensive side of the role and have experience with shift patterns and/or long hours. If you've got experience in manufacturing, direct extrusion, or continuous improvement, that's a plus—but we're open to all backgrounds and will provide personalized training to help you succeed.
