Due to continued expansion, our client is looking for an experienced machine operator.

This role is temp to perm after 12 weeks.

Job description

This is a very hands-on role in a workshop, working as part of a busy and hard-working team to complete production of doors.

Attention to detail and accuracy is important, to ensure quality bespoke products. We are looking for candidates with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating fast paced machinery
  • Ensuring machines are stocked with raw materials
  • Ensure machines run smoothly
  • Fix faults on machines throughout shift Ensure quality of product is maintained Work on a fast paced production line
  • setting up and programing
  • Maintaining H&S procedures

Skills Required:

  • Experience operating a cutting machine
  • Measure and cut materials accurately
  • Good communication
  • Self-motivated & demonstration of positive attitude
  • Good work ethic
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Takes responsibility for own and others safety

Schedule:

Monday till Friday

Monday till Thursday 6am - 2:45pm

Friday 6am - 12pm

Pay rate: £13/hour
