The Role

As a Driver/Operator, you’ll play a key role in the secure transport of client assets between the Cheshire storage facility and client locations nationwide. You’ll also support on-site operations at their unique underground facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive various vehicle types, including 18T & 7.5T box rigids and 3.5T commercial vans.
  • Ensure timely, secure delivery and collection of customer assets.
  • Accurately record handling data using PDT systems.
  • Perform on-site operations, transferring documents between surface and underground facilities.
  • Manual handling, including palletisation, wrapping, and loading/unloading assets.
  • Represent the business professionally through appearance and customer service.
  • Complete all paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Adhere to mandatory and company-specific Health & Safety standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant driving experience.
  • A full, clean Category C driving licence.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Experience and confidence driving long distances, including rural, suburban, and urban environments.
  • Effective communication skills and discretion in handling sensitive assets.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
