• £28,437.75 + £330.34 Vetting Allowance + £1,653.75 Driver Allowance

Our client is a unique document management and archiving company located in Cheshire. Established in 1998, their storage facility is based in the UK's largest salt mine, providing a high-security, climate-controlled environment for a wide range of materials, from critical documents to historical artefacts. As part of an international minerals company, they are dedicated to delivering safe, secure, and reliable storage solutions.

The Role

As a Cat C Driver / Operative, you will be responsible for transporting customer assets safely and securely between their underground storage facility in Cheshire and client locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a variety of vehicles, including 18T & 7.5T rigid box trucks and 3.5T commercial vans.
• Ensuring on-time and secure delivery/collection of customer assets.
• Using a PDT device to accurately record handling data.
• Assisting with on-site operations, including moving assets between surface and underground storage.
• Handling and preparing boxes, pallets, and wrapping materials for transport.
• Representing the company professionally through excellent customer service and appearance.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and transport accreditation standards (FORS & Van Excellence).

The Ideal Candidate:

They're looking for a responsible, skilled, and customer-focused driver who can work independently and as part of a team. About you:

• Relevant commercial driving experience
• Full, clean Category C driving licence
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Willingness to drive long distances across national routes
• Comfortable driving in rural, suburban, and urban areas
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
