Electrical Design Technician (CAD / Engineer)

Winsford, Cheshire

£40,000 to £50,000 DOE + Laptop + Mobile Phone + Ongoing Training and Development Opportunities

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week

Electrical Technician looking to move into a design focused role required for an industry leading engineering company who provide services to industrial engineering sectors such as utilities, renewable energy, petrochemical, oil & gas and manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a company who can offer fantastic training as they are truly committed to employee development.

To apply for this role candidates must have experience working with and interpreting electrical drawings / schematics in an industrial working environment. Experience working with CAD software would be advantageous, but not essential as the company can offer training on this. Graduates (or equivalent) are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for using AutoCAD to deliver Electrical, Control and Instrumentation designs for bespoke systems used within classified hazardous areas. You will oversee projects from start to finish, from liaising directly with customers to understand their requirements, through to providing instruction to the manufacturing teams on site.

The Electrical Technician Role:

· Using AutoCAD to create 2D electrical designs

· Project management

· CAD training provided

The Electrical Technician Candidate:

· Experience working with electrical designs / schematics

· CAD experience or an interest in moving into a design focused role

· Industrial background
