Group Finance Manager

- Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum plus benefits
We are seeking a Group Financial Manager to join a reputable organisation in Winsford which offers a superb opportunity to grow your career. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with legislation and providing advisory and reporting services to UK company managers as well as overseas parent company.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain financial controls in accordance with the Company’s and statutory requirements to ensure the company has a reliable system of control.
- Lead the UK audit, acting as the main day-to-day point of contact for auditors.
- Manage and analyse company results, costs, and data.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts throughout the year.
- Coordinate the month-end process.
- Perform ad hoc financial models, primarily focusing on storage sales opportunities.
- Manage and improve Finance & business processes.
- Assist in cash flow, defined benefit pension, and tax compliance management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- 1-2 years post-qualification experience, ideally from a Chartered Accountancy background.
- Proven experience in statutory financial reporting.
- Proactive, engaging, and ambitious personality.
- Ideally experience in Audit
