Supervisor

Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing company based in Cheshire, who due to expanding growth are looking to recruit a Supervisor (Manufacturing and Production) to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Hours: Mon-Fri - working on 3 rotating shift patterns

Salary: £30,000

What duties will you be doing in the Supervisor role?

• Supervising a team to ensure work and compliance is in line with policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance standards
• Ensuring products are produced on time working to exact customer standards and specifications
• Undertake equipment maintenance within the working area
• Operate to the requirements of TS16949, integrated ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
• Promoting company's health and safety guidelines
• Follow 5 's' workplace disciplines
• Ensure all targets & deadlines are achieved

What will you bring to the Supervisor role?

• At least 1 year's previous experience as a Supervisor/Team Lead or similar within a manufacturing environment is essential
• Good organisational, grammar & communication skills
• Team player and team builder
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Professional & well presented
• Strong H&S awareness with a passion to improve performance in this area
• Innovative approach, forward thinking, able to think 'outside the box' & generate new opportunities for improvement
