We are looking for a helpful Warehouse and Stock Control Associate to join our Winsford warehouse team to help with Goods In.

This role offers varied tasks to keep you challenged and engaged.

You'll be a key player in our Goods In department, from receiving goods through stock-take activity and accurate records management to dispatching customer orders - no two days are the same!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Warehouse and Stock Control Associate, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Assisting in receiving and checking in all deliveries to the warehouse, including checking off and recording incoming stock and informing the buying team of any irregularities
  • Transferring stock to the correct warehouse, taking care not to damage products or packaging
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders with care and within time targets, ensuring accurate paperwork is dispatched, waste is disposed of correctly, and the computer system is updated
  • Maintain stock rotation and take part in stock checks with the wider team.
  • Complete and adhere to all health and safety training to adhere to GDPR guidelines when disposing of paperwork
  • Maintain good working relationships with staff, projecting a professional image at all times

Skills Required
  • Recent experience in a warehouse or similar environment, such as a supermarket or a large retail store e-commerce distribution centre
  • A team player who is happy to receive tasks and lend a hand and can keep up with deliveries with the confidence to question any discrepancies
  • A good communicator with excellent standards of customer service
  • Comfortable using computers at a basic level, such as inputting information, sending emails, etc.
  • Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail; this department is helpful and hardworking and completes tidy work that they are proud to distribute
