They are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join their team, operating on a Monday to Friday shift from 8 am to 5 pm. As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
- Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
- Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
- Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
- Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
- Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
- Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
- Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical skills.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
