Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary - 43,470
Shifts - Double Days 6-2, 2-10
Pension - 6% (5% by employee)
We are recruiting for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a busy, fast paced manufacturing site in Cheshire area. If you are looking for a high spec, clean, innovative manufacturing site that wants to support and progress its employees, this could be the job for you! This is a very exciting time to join a company that has recently expanded and investing in the site and its employees.
Shift pattern is alternating between Monday - Friday 6am-2pm on week one, Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm on week two, plus Tuesday - Friday week 3 plus one Saturday or Sunday.
What you will bring
- Recognised Engineer Apprenticeship (electrical, mechanical or multiskilled) or ONC/BTEC/HNC
- Knowledge of :
- MS office
- CMMS
- Pneumatics
- Steam Systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Plc Siemens S7,S5, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley
- HMI's
- Robotics
- Inverters
- FMCG experience, Food Industry (desirable)
- Continuous Improvement Techniques
The Job:
- Ensuring all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition
- Maintaining and enhancing performance of all machinery within the corrugating / conversion plant
- Reducing engineering downtime, responding rapidly to machine failures and breakdowns
- Undertaking projects and assisting with all on-site installations
- Undertaking, developing, and improving planned maintenance schedules
- Demonstrating flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required
