About the Role

SRL is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Executive to support our fast-paced business with a broad range of marketing activities.

This is a generalist role, requiring a hands-on, proactive approach. You’ll take ownership of B2B social media, website content, internal communications, email marketing, and more, ensuring SRL’s brand and messaging remain strong and consistent.

This is a varied, hands-on marketing role with plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and take on responsibilities. You’ll be working in a supportive environment with a mix of autonomy and collaboration. If you’re an enthusiastic marketer looking for a challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

This role will be office based in Winsford.

Key Accountabilities

  • Social Media Management - Own and manage LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook accounts, creating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring trends and tracking performance.
  • Website Management & SEO - Maintain and optimise the SRL website, adding content and ensuring it is SEO-friendly.
  • Internal Communications - Manage The Light House (SRL’s intranet), creating and sharing content, uploading files, and keeping employees informed.
  • Email Marketing - Create and send campaigns via Mailchimp (or similar platform) to engage and nurture audiences.
  • Copywriting & Content Creation - Write blogs, articles, and marketing materials for digital channels, ensuring engaging and relevant messaging.
  • Campaign Management - Owning end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, aligned to commercial priorities, (starting with the development of clear and compelling briefs for design, optimising performance by monitoring key metrics and developing strategy).
  • Product marketing - Work cross functionally to translate innovations and enhancements into clear impactful messaging.
  • Event Support - Assist in planning and organising trade shows, customer events, and internal events.
  • CRM Support - Experience with a CRM system would be a bonus, helping to align marketing and sales activities.
  • Analytics & Reporting - Track marketing performance, with a basic understanding of GA4 and an ability to analyse data for insights.
  • Merchandise & Budget Management - Support with sourcing and managing branded merchandise within a set budget.
  • PPC Knowledge (Preferred but not essential) - Some understanding of paid advertising and willingness to develop this skill.
  • Adobe CC Skills (Bonus but not essential) - Basic experience with InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop would be advantageous to support in busy periods.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as WordPress, Hootsuite, GA4

Qualifications:

  • A degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, is desirable.
