My client is a hugely successful company in the engineering sector who are continuing to grow. Due to their ongoing success, they have an opportunity for a Project Administrator to join their team. Experience within their sector is not essential but would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Operations Manager with day to day production requirements
  • Producing sales order confirmations to customers
  • An element of production planning & scheduling alongside the Operations manager
  • Raising purchase orders for all projects
  • Documentation management - generating production files
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure kit is delivered to deadline, acting as a point of contact for them
  • Co ordinating site installs with Site Manager and customer
  • Work closely with the logistics Co ordinator to ensure products are transported and arrive to site on time
  • Management of some marketing and social media initiatives

Essentially, this individual will have the overall aim of supporting the Operations Department to ensure the smooth running of the business through driving good documentation control and process adherence.

The candidate:

  • Needs to be able to use own initiative
  • Experience working within a fast paced environment and within an office
  • Can use Microsoft: word, excel and outlook
  • Experience using Sage not essential but beneficial
  • An efficient work who takes pride in their work
  • Ability to achieve deadlines
  • Able to speak to confidently to colleagues on all levels

Hours: 9 - 5.30 Mon-Thur, 9 - 3.30 Fri
