We are currently working with an Ofsted "Outstanding" SEN school in Winsford, West Cheshire to support them to recruit an experienced teacher for a permanent role starting in April 2025. The school has opportunities in foundation stage and Key Stage 2 and is considering applications from ECT's and experienced teachers with experience in either.Your new company

You will be working in a large SEN school which specialises in supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. The school is rated Ofsted "Outsanding" and all staff work hard to create an environment for pupils to flourish. The school delivers a bespoke curriculum which has been designed specifically for their learners to engage in education and all aspects of school life.

Your new roleAs a teacher in the school you will work in a class of 9-11 pupils and be supported by 3 teaching assistants. You will be responsible for planning, resourcing and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the schools' bespoke curriculum which meets the needs of the children you teach.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SLD and Complex needs.
  • Experience working within a EYFS or KS2 setting. This is useful but not essential.
  • An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
