Are you an experienced Panel Wirer looking for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their team.

Role:

As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, making each day exciting and varied. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Wiring various panel boards from schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Building various steelwork switchboards including Schneider Prisma and CUBIC.
  • Assembling control panels, which includes drilling, tapping, and assembling trunking and din rail components.
  • Populating panels with the necessary components.
  • Ensuring workshop cleanliness and adhering to all aspects of Health and Safety.

To thrive in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in panel wiring and a good understanding of electrical systems is essential.

Our client's team is known for its dedication and professionalism, and they are looking for someone who shares these values. You will be reporting to the Production Supervisor, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:30, and Friday, 08:00 - 12:30. Additionally, our client offers a pension plan, 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and an annual profit-sharing scheme.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in panel wiring.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to read schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of building steelwork switchboards, including Schneider Prisma and CUBIC.
  • Proficient in assembling control panels, including drilling, tapping, and assembling trunking and din rail components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
