GSL Education is currently partnering with an outstanding SEND school in Winton, who are seeking a dedicated full-time Teacher to start in the new academic year.

The school is serving a wide geographical area, dedicated to supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). As a SEND Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed to ensure all students are making progress towards their goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with students with SEND preferred.
• Knowledge of a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD, and experience implementing strategies to support these needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
• Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
