Location: North West (ideally around Wirral)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, DOE + Benefits!
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What You'll Do
As our Principal Project Engineer, you will:
- Manage multiple complex projects, from initial concept to completion.
- Collaborate directly with senior client teams, including Directors and VPs.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
- Deliver innovative engineering improvements through feasibility studies and CAPEX forecasts.
- Lead site operations, overseeing contractors, quality control, and safety inspections.
- Act as the principal contractor under CDM regulations when required.
- Coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- Provide regular progress reports and handle change requests.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in engineering (or equivalent experience).
- A proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Flexibility to travel across mainland UK for client engagements.
It would be great if you had:
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications or familiarity with APM/Prince 2 methodology.
- Experience with ERP systems or similar tools.
