Total Staff Services are currently recruiting an IT Software Support Engineer for one of our clients based in the Wirral. We're looking for a candidate who's comfortable speaking with customers to offer support for queries. You'll need to be confident in using a support ticket tracking system as well as knowledge of Cloud providers.

Our client is a leading software company specialising in the healthcare sector with both national and international customers. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Support and Implementation Engineer.

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (Apply online only)

Salary: 28k - 30k depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and troubleshooting hardware issues with customers including mobile devices, mobile printers, IoT locking systems and IoT monitoring systems (training given in IoT devices).
  • Ensuring adherence to basic ITIL processes for efficient support and service delivery.
  • Ability to analyse Server Logs and use the information found to analyse and fix issues reported.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues on the Cloud.
  • Develop customer reports and dashboards using Metabase.
  • Maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Assisting with Software Implementation projects.
  • Conduct SQL Server Database Analysis and Maintenance.
  • Provide 1st Line and 2nd Line support to NHS and Public Sector end-users.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a software support desk role.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Experience of JIRA.
  • Proficient with AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 20xx & Microsoft Server 20xx.
  • Solid understanding of cloud software solutions.
  • Understanding of Apple iOS devices, Apple iPadOS devices, Google Android devices, web browsers, mobile printers and IoT devices.
