Sonic Summary

The Composite Laminator position is based at a state-of-the-art facility in the Wirral, with operations across the UK and globally.
Candidates are required to have experience in providing specialist training and developing skills in composite lay-ups within the aerospace industry.
The role involves guiding cleanroom best practices, driving lean initiatives, and collaborating with engineering for program improvements.
This is a 6-month contract position offering £25.00 per hour inside IR35, with additional shift allowances for night work.
Candidates should be prepared to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights.

Composite Laminator

Our client operates from their state-of-the-art facility in the Wiirral, but they also have locations all over the UK and worldwide. Specialising in the design and manufacture components to the aerospace industry.

Composite Laminator requirements:

Provide specialist training and develop the skills of current operators.
Provide specialist tools/knowledge/skills to undertake complex composite lay-ups.
Provide specialist laminating skills to develop a manufacturing method for new work packages (NPI).
Guide Supervision on Clean Room best practice and operational improvements.
Take responsibility for lean initiatives and liaise with Engineering on existing program improvements.
Drive cleanroom activities to achieve or exceed target layup times and quality metrics.

Terms

6 months Contract
£25.00 ph inside IR35
Working shifts - 4 on and 4 off (days and nights)
Nights have a shift allowance on top of the hourly rate
