Job Description
My client is a fast-growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world's leading aircraft and aero engine producers.
Job Purpose:
This role will include machining aircraft components by reading and working from engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures
- Setting our range of Five Axis and Three Axis Machines
- Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges.
- Conducting regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools.
- Good understanding of CNC Programming
- A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
- Good understanding of component drawings
- Fanuc Controller experience would be beneficial.
Experience:
- Prior experience using an CNC Machine
- Experience of working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals Experience of working in the aerospace/defence/automotive sector
