About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to further their career in quantity surveying, working on a variety of construction projects across multiple sectors. The role involves supporting senior quantity surveyors in delivering cost management and commercial services while ensuring financial efficiency throughout project lifecycles.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.

  • Conduct on-site measurements and valuations.

  • Support in assessing and managing project costs to ensure profitability.

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, variations, and final accounts.

  • Conduct financial reporting and risk analysis.

  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Support in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiencies.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.



Requirements:

  • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, CostX, or similar estimating tools.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
