Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - 45k - 60k plus package

Job Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for managing costs, budgets, and financial reporting for build and infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside a talented team to ensure the efficient procurement of subcontractors, deliver cost reductions, and provide expert advice to ensure projects stay within budget. You'll also support the development of junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise as a mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage build and infrastructure costs, cash flow, and variations at site and plot level.
  • Collaborate with Housing Associations, third-party providers, and subcontractors to ensure all contractual terms are met.
  • Procure subcontract trades, ensuring best value and compliance with prequalification criteria.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis and advice to Contracts Managers and Site Management.
  • Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors, aiding in their professional development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant qualification or substantial experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proficiency in COINS and MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of build methods, sequences, and financial implications.
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge within the construction industry.
  • Experience with financial management systems and construction regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel between sites as required.
