Job Role: Residential ConveyancerLocation: West KirbySalary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) + Excellent BenefitsMy client is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their Property Team based in West Kirby. This role offers flexibility, with the option for hybrid working, and is ideal for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in both Freehold and Leasehold Residential Conveyancing. The role will involve handling a variety of cases, including sales and purchases, mortgages and re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and first registrations.The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong time management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to meeting both client demands and financial targets. A caring and empathetic approach is essential, as well as a strong focus on teamwork, communication, and decision-making. Candidates should also be proactive and innovative, with an interest in contributing to the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives, such as attending networking events and preparing content for blogs and articles.Key responsibilities include:
  • Attending clients to take instructions and manage their expectations
  • Drafting and dictating letters and documents, including contracts and completion statements
  • Reviewing documentation and advising clients, such as on mortgage offers, leases, and searches
  • Conducting due diligence to meet AML and source of funds requirements
  • Overseeing the entire transaction, including post-completion duties
  • Complying with professional obligations and maintaining accurate time recording
