Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting this professional organisation in their search for a Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA, ACCA Accountant to prepare accounts and advisory services for a range of clients.Your new roleIn this newly created Accountant job based in the PE13 area, you will work closely with the Senior Partner in the preparation of accounts as well as providing a comprehensive range of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. As a finance professional, you will deliver a high-quality, personalised service to help clients achieve their financial goals.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on financial planning, tax efficiency, and business growth.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a highly motivated and experienced ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (part-qualified) with experience of managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Key skills required

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a firm of chartered accountants.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
