£16.00ph - £19.50ph depending on day worked

We are currently recruiting for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for regular ongoing work Monday to Sunday. This is an ongoing requirement with a 12.00-20:00 shift patter - more hours potentially available.

Day to Day Role:

• Vehicle checks to be completed daily and to report any defects accordingly
• Ensure loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
• Transportation of goods and deliveries to their intended destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure all POD’s are signed and completed in line with company policy
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times
• Follow company procedures and maintain contact with the transport office informing them of potential delays

Role Requirements:

• Full UK driving license, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
• 2 years' Class 1 commercial driving experience (Req)
• Excellent Knowledge of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Req)
• Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
• Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
• Experience of Curtain side and/or Container and Hub run is essential
