The Role:

  • The vacancy is for an experienced Contracts Manager who is able to confidently manage and oversee all aspects of a planned maintenance contract for affordable housing (local authority / housing association)
  • You will be able to oversee a Site Supervisor and operatives/trades staff working on properties in various locations.
  • You will work in close coordination with the team including a QS, Resident Liaison Officer, and skilled trades
  • Works will include kitchen and bathroom upgrades, internal and external works, repairs and renovations. The work will also include refurbishments of void properties.
  • The region is based around the Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire areas. You will be provided with a company van and my client is flexible regarding office location (Wisbech or Grantham)

The Person:

  • You must have 5 years+ experience in a similar contracts or project management role in maintenance for an affordable housing specialist main contractor.
  • Stable career history, right to work permanently in the UK, ideally be based within an easy commute of the region
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; must enjoy working within a team and autonomously
  • Must have relevant industry qualifications and an excellent knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Previous experience assessing the condition of voids andplanned maintenance of affordable housing properties
