Hays is very excited to be working with this superb, family-owned and run business who puts customers over profit every time! As a result of new investment and a business restructure, our client has asked us to help them find 2 people to join their newly focussed customer service team.
Your new role
Your job will be to provide support to their customers, 70% of which are long-term partners with the company. This could be anything from taking a phone call to amend a delivery date and time to investigating discrepancies on orders or pricing, chasing for PO numbers or working with the commercial team to price up new order enquiries. You'll have lots of support from your colleagues in the business and a very good manager to keep you on track with training and support on company policies and procedures.
Please note the working hours for this job; you'll be part of a team that works 3 shifts. Early is 7am-3pm, so if you're an early bird, you'll get cracking straight away and still have most of the afternoon ahead of you when you've finished work, so even in winter you'll still see daylight! The usual core shift is 8am-4pm and the late shift means you get a lie in and start at 10am and finish at 6pm. Applicants must be able to work all shifts.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone with office admin / customer service experience that has a proactive way of working that loves solving problems. You'll be obsessed with giving great customer service and going the extra mile should be something that you do without even thinking twice! We're looking for high-energy, bubbly personalities with ambition to do well and earn progression and advancement.
