Your role as Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager

You'll be part of the Corporate Services Team, delivering high-quality client service while mentoring junior staff and managing a varied portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead audits for clients with turnovers of £10-30 million, primarily in the SME space

  • Handle planning, fieldwork, and completion phases, ensuring a smooth and efficient process

  • Liaise directly with clients from diverse sectors: agriculture, manufacturing, construction, retail, technology, and not-for-profit

  • Review working papers and files, ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards

  • Support group reorganisations, consolidations, and management accounts projects

What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with 1+ year post-qualification experience in audit and accounts

  • A confident communicator who enjoys mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102, FRS 102 1a) and ISAs

  • A proactive, positive approach, able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
