Sonic Summary
- Paragon Resource Solutions is seeking a Supervisor for a Responsive Repairs and Voids Contract with a reputable social housing contractor.
- The role requires a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm, and is ideal for a skilled tradesperson looking to move into a supervisory position or someone with existing supervisory experience.
- Candidates should have relevant trade experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications preferred but not mandatory.
- The position offers a salary of £40,000 per year, along with benefits such as bonus incentives, a company vehicle, a fuel card, and 25 days of holiday.
- Applicants must possess a full driving license with no more than 6 points and should be diligent in quality assurance and compliance checks.
Full time role Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm
The position would suit someone looking for a full-time post off the tools, training can be provided If required. Either a skilled tradesperson looking to develop their career into a more supervisory office based role or someone already with this experience would be considered.
Duties to include -
- Management of subcontractors (Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, ground workers and general builders).
- Client and resident liaison.
- Survey, post inspect and manage Local Authority upgrade works including, all domestic building alterations, kitchens,
bathrooms, wet rooms, heating systems, rewires, concrete driveways and footpaths.
Skills and attributes required -
- Good communication skills both written and verbal, computer literate on Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Trade experience essential.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualified (Preferred but not essential, training can be provided)
- Experience working with contractors who have worked with local authorities or domestic private customers.
Diligent in Quality Assurance and Compliance checks to ensure the standards expected by the company are achieved.
Must have a full driving license with no more than 6 points.
