This is a key leadership position, managing and leading the Medical Workforce teams and service across the Trust.The successful candidate will deliver a professional, responsive, and effective medical workforce service. They will provide expert management, advice, and guidance on all medical workforce matters, including:
  • Terms and conditions of service
  • Employee relations
  • Job planning and appraisals
  • Revalidation processes
  • Rota design
  • Education, development, and transformation initiatives
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of medical workforce policies in compliance with NHS standards, legislation, and best practices.
  • Design and execute employee relations interventions with measurable impact.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in workforce planning and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality workforce services that support the Trust's goals.
About YouThe ideal candidate will:
  • Be MCIPD qualified (or equivalent).
  • Have significant experience managing medical workforce services, including developing policies and processes aligned with NHS standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of creating and implementing impactful employee relations strategies.
  • Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
