About the Role 

1:1 Teaching Assistant


This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 15:30pm, working 1:1 with a child with social, emotional and mental health issues.


This role will commence in March 2025 and continue on until July 2025.

 

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

 

The Role

Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support on a 1:1 basis. Must be flexible to changing environments.

The School

This primary school is looking for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Head Teacher and leadership team are dedicated to providing an outstanding level of education to the children within the school. The school is friendly and welcoming and has a positive ethos.

 

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools though this is not essential
  • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment or have experience of working with children in a different capacity
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
  • Be able to provide two recent references to support your work with children
  • Be able to provide a full, clear DBS
