- Oversee and manage the upgrade process for laptops and mobile devices across the organisation.
- Configure and set up new devices, ensuring they are fully functional and meet company standards.
- Provide 1st line IT support to users during the upgrade process, resolving any hardware or software issues.
- Ensure a smooth handover of new devices to users, including data migration and user support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the upgrade process.
- Maintain an accurate log of devices and their status in the asset management system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support any additional IT-related tasks during the interim period.
- Previous experience in an IT support role, ideally with experience in managing device upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of laptop and mobile device configuration.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in data migration and ensuring minimal disruption to users during device upgrades.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and supportive guidance to end users.
- Organised and proactive, with a strong focus on delivering an excellent user experience.
