Primary Supply Teacher

Randstad Education is seeking a reliable and experienced supply teacher to join our network of educators for day-to-day assignments in schools in and around the Wisbech area. These schools prioritise high standards of education, adaptability, and fostering a positive environment for all students.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensuring timely arrival and readiness for your assigned school each day.
  • Following school-specific policies and procedures while on duty.
  • Effectively communicating relevant information within the school.
  • Managing and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and engaging students with the material.
  • Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Handling any unforeseen situations with professionalism and care.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs or challenging behaviours.
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient attitude towards teaching.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
