We are recruiting on behalf of a respected client who specialises in building services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of a range of building services projects. You'll work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective delivery of works from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
路Assisting in the preparation of tenders and cost plans.
路Measuring and valuing work done on site.
路Supporting the management of subcontractor accounts and payments.
路Assisting in the preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts.
路Ensuring compliance with commercial procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
路Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
路Some relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within building services.
路Strong numerical and analytical skills.
路Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
路Full UK driving licence (due to travel between sites).
