Senior Support Workers Required for Childrens Home in Wisbech Cambridgeshire PE14

We are currently recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wisbech at our new multi complex site supporting upto 6 children/young adults with EBD and challenging behaviours( Ofsted Regulated)

Our home is well led where there will be huge support and you will be encouraged to develop and progress.

As Senior Support Worker you will

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with EBD and complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the well-being and development of the residents.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures
  • Lead and manage the shifts including YPs behaviours and staffing issues
  • Manage the supervision of staff
  • Carry out inductions for newcomers
  • hours 42 per week

Senior Support Worker shift patterns

  • 12 hour shifts
  • 7 x shifts in 14 days
  • work every other weekend

Senior Support Worker Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £17 start £17.50 after probation £18 after 2 years service (plus sleep-in payments).
  • Sleep-ins paid at £65.

Senior Support Worker Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with Children or Young People (Minimum of 2 year)
  • At least 1 year leading and supervising staff
  • NVQ level 3 in children’s and young people's workforce or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Driver (preferred)
