Anderson Knight Recruitment are seeking a HR Adviser for a 6 month fixed term contract to support our client based in Lanarkshire. This is a full time position with hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home. Our client is looking for someone who can start asap, the contract may also be extended further than 6 months.

Role Overview:

As an HR Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support across a variety of functions, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with company policies and employment law. This position is perfect for someone looking to make an immediate impact, working closely with managers and employees to support all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, supporting managers with performance management, absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
  • HR Administration: Oversee HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and HR policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Policy and Compliance: Help maintain compliance with employment legislation and company policies, advising on updates as necessary.
  • Learning and Development: Coordinate training sessions and development opportunities in alignment with our organisational goals.
  • HR Projects: Contribute to HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or diverse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience with HR systems and software is a plus.
  • CIPD qualification
