Role: Network Engineer  

Salary: £44,000 - £47,000

Role Type: FTC (2 years)  

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT Spaces, including data centres and communications rooms
  • Assist in the implementation of technological changes across the IT infrastructure
  • Support the security, resilience, backup, and monitoring efforts for IT infrastructure
  • Raise and execute Change Requests in compliance with the Change Control process
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, processes, inventories, and tools
  • Promote collaboration and open communication with other IT teams to deliver exceptional IT services
  • Identify and implement service improvements and innovations aligned with the IT strategy and roadmap
  • Explore and execute initiatives to minimize environmental impact and enhance sustainability
  • Collaborate closely with third-party providers to transition services and solutions into a BAU environment while maintaining operational excellence

Essential

  • Proven experience working within technical environments such as data centre suites and communication rooms (Technical Spaces)
  • Demonstrated success in an operational and collaborative role, including supporting local teams and liaising with third-party providers
  • Experienced in managing and delivering technical projects effectively
  • Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and manage workflows efficiently
  • Ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
