Shift Pattern: 8:30am - 6pm

Responsibilities:Join our clients dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative, where your contributions will directly support their operations and customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:

    • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers
    • Breaking down pallets for efficient storage
    • Picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
    • Building and wrapping stock onto pallets for delivery
    • Appropriately storing stock to maintain organisation
    • Moving stock using manual handling or equipment
    • Inputting data into their systems
    • Assisting with stock takes to ensure accuracy
    • Keeping the warehouse and yard clean and tidy
    • Collaborating and communicating with different teams daily
    • Performing general warehouse maintenance tasks
    • You are also required to drive their vans to do deliveries of white goods.

Essential Skills & Experience:To thrive in this role, you should possess:

    • Previous experience in a similar warehouse role
    • Strong manual handling skills
    • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
    • A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
    • The capability to consistently meet targets
    • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
    • A commitment to following health and safety guidelines
    • Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts as needed
    • A full standard driving licence and experience of driving a van is essential for this role

Desirable Skills & Experience:

    • Forklift Truck Licence
    • Familiarity with Kerridge or other WMS/ERP systems
    • Experience in delivery planning
