Polytec are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer with a background in physics and/or engineering for our client based in Ely. You will generate new business, participate in market development via sales campaigns and develop nurturing relationships with Key Account customers.

Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the European sales growth target by finding new markets and customers
* Address European customers by rolling out sales campaigns
* Deliver on customer projects, qualifying and understanding their technical needs
* Key Account Management responsibilities to include:
- negotiation handling
- building and management of relationships (internal and external stakeholders)
- key point of contact for the customer
- ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded on products and services
* Work closely with relevant internal teams
* Provide sales forecasting and help define market and territory growth strategies
* Deliver market feedback and drive process changes to ensure current and future market demand is met
* Visit key customers and attend tradeshows
* Manage and maintain pipeline and opportunities in CRM

Requirements:
* Degree in Physics or similar experience
* 5+ years of account management in an outside sales or technical sales role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* High level of confidentiality, integrity and credibility
