• Manage own portfolio of audit clients, delivering statutory audit assignments from planning to completion
• Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality fieldwork
• Report directly to the Audit Manager and Partners
• Liaise with HMRC on work assignments
• Supervise and coach junior staff both on site and in the office by reviewing work
• Potential to gain exposure to accounts, tax and VAT work
• Ensure audit procedures are followed meticulously
• Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
• Manage own workload and regularly update managers with work progress
• Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
• Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
• Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

• ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
• Qualified by experience also considered
• Good knowledge of relevant audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
• Personable with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress within the firm
• A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
• Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
• Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
