- Lead and develop the Finance team
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting and planning process liaising with each department head to build a financial strategy.
- Ensure the company’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Participation in business strategy development
- Managing, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external stakeholders
- Responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of the monthly and weekly business performance reports including rolling forecasts and variance reporting.
- Working closely with other stakeholders in the business to help report key KPI’s in a timely manner.
- Development and refinement of management accounting and reporting, including KPIs and business analysis
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the costing system, to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
- Preparation of draft annual accounts, working paper files and consolidation of financial statements and supporting with the statutory audit, and being a key point of contact.
- Working with and liaising with external financial advisers
- Ensuring the company’s financial framework is operating within statutory legislation
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACCA,ACA,CIMA)
- Advanced knowledge of MS applications including Excel and Access
- Experienced Manager & Leader
