Join Our Team!We are on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Locum Children’s Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team! If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of children aged 0-19 with neurodevelopmental conditions, this is the role for you.

Main Duties:

  • Physiotherapy Management: Assess and manage children presenting with neurodevelopmental conditions. You’ll develop tailored physiotherapy programs aimed at enhancing motor development and managing symptoms that may hinder progress.

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Provide clear and accurate SOAP notes, craft detailed reports for families and professionals, and contribute to EHCP provisions with your recommendations.

  • Flexible Service Delivery: Conduct appointments in various settings including clinics, homes, schools, and nurseries, adapting to the needs of each child.

  • Collaborative Approach: Liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) regarding children’s needs, facilitating onward referrals, and participating in health/social care/education meetings as well as safeguarding supervision.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience working with children in a physiotherapy setting.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a wider MDT.

  • Confidence and competence in assessing children and making informed recommendations based on clinical observations.

  • Understanding of typical child development, with the ability to identify deviations from expected milestones.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially with children aged 0-19 and their families, teachers, and caregivers.
