Success Recruit are currently working with a leading supplier based in Witham providing a high-end service to the Construction Industry. Our client is looking for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join as soon as possible supporting with internal expansion and a recent acquisition.
The successful Temporary Accounts Assistant will have a positive can-do attitude towards working within a busy team environment and with a hands-on approach to support the Accounts Payable Supervisor within the department.
The successful Temporary Accounts Assistant expectations:
- Previous experience working within a Finance / accounts department beneficial
- Confident with purchase ledger and high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
- Car needed due to the location
The successful Temporary Accounts Assistant will be rewarded with:
- Being part of a supportive and friendly team
- Onsite parking available
- 4 days a week temporary requirement Monday - Thursday in office location.
Purpose of the role:
The Temporary Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts Payable Supervisor as well as other team members in accounts. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with clients and suppliers over the telephone, inputting information onto a database system and has excellent attention to detail.
Duties to include but not limited to…
- Attention to detail / accurate inputting essential
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Purchase ledger experience
- Data entry
- Verifying bank details
- Confident with invoices as well as inputting invoices onto internal database
- Inputting bank details for new suppliers
- Assisting the Accounts team with any other ad hoc tasks as required by the business
- General admin
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within Accounts with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities.
Hours: Monday - Thursday - Flexible hours, either 08am - 4.00pm or 9am - 5pm can be considered.
Salary: £14.50 per hour. Fixed term contract for 3 months. This may be extended and could lead to a perm position.
