As one of the largest steel reinforcement suppliers in the UK, Rom is strategically placed in sites around the UK in Scotland, Ireland, Midlands, Wales and East London. Our Sheffield facility is responsible for producing steel products to Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station and has a history of supplying steel for other iconic projects such as Crossrail, HS2, Google HQ and The Commonwealth Games Aquatic Centre. Your will be responsible for but not limited to:

Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and accordance with instructions

Complete production activities in order of priority

Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products

Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed.

About you:

A good awareness of Health and Safety

Ability to follow strict processes and procedures

Eager to learn

Previous production experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
